How do I create assignments for multiple classes?

For a teacher (typically high school teacher or elementary specialist) with multiple classes covering the same content, assignments can be duplicated in all classes with the same group name. To do this, enter the group name for all such classes through the class information button (blue circle w/ letter "i") on the PowerGrade toolbar.

How do I get student photos in PowerGrade?

From the Utilities menu, select the item "Rebuild data from server". Check the box for student photos and click OK to download student photos from the PowerSchool server.

How do I create a custom grade scale in PowerGrade?

To make a custom grade scale, follow the steps below:
  1. Open a class in PowerGrade
  2. Select Grade Scale from the Windows menu
  3. Click New and type a descriptive name for the new grade scale
  4. Edit Grade, Cutoff, or check box to Remove from grade scale
  5. You must click Accept after each grade scale change.
  6. Once the whole new grade scale is created, you can copy it to other classes by clicking the Copy to button.
  7. To apply the grade scale to a student, open the Class Roster.
  8. Click on the appropriate student and change the selection by Gradescale at the bottom of the window.
  9. Click OK or Save Changes.
