Understanding Report Card Grade Calculations for JH Students:

• Some classes aren't included in any calculations (e.g. Directed Studies, Phys. Ed., etc.).
• Class credit determines how much the grade affects the total (e.g. Health 7 meets every other day and Music 7 just one semester and therefore only count as 0.5 credits).
• Only high school level classes (e.g. Algebra I Honors) count in Cumulative GPA calculations.
• JH level classes use a simplified GPA scale (4.0/A, 3.7/A-, 3.3/B+, 3.0/B, etc.).
• Multiply percent or GPA by course credit value, add all, and divide by total credits.
