Course Description: 

Advanced Placement English is designed to engage students in becoming skilled readers of prose written in a variety of periods, disciplines, and rhetorical contexts, and skilled writers of narrative, explanatory, expository, and argumentative form.  The overall goal of this class is to enable students to write effectively and confidently in their future courses.  Teacher approval is required for admission to this course.
