The Mount Union Area Board of Directors is seeking interested individuals to fill an anticipated board member vacancy for Region III – Union Township, Shirley Township and Shirleysburg Borough – until the next general election (November 2012). The Board is requesting citizens to forward a letter of interest to include a statement why they would like to serve on the Board of Education and a resume to Dr. Brett A. Gilliland, Superintendent, Mount Union Area School District, Administrative Center, 603 North Industrial Drive, Mount Union, PA 17066 by 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2012.
