Trojans win 2 duals in a week

Decenber 15 & 17, 2009 - The Mount Union Junior High Wrestling team is 2-0 thanks to wins over Northern Bedford and Tussey Mountain.  On Tuesday, December 15th, the team beat Northern Bedford 66-34.  Those winning by fall were:  Mc Todaro (90), Kord Aurand (115), Tyler Long (122), Hunter Grove (130), Jeremy Hess (138), Nolan Brown (145), Nathan Goodrich (155), Phil Kyle (165), and Jesse Rhodes (250).  Picking up forfeits were:  Curtis Jury (85) and Sage Moist (95).

Against Tussey Mountain on Thursday, Dec. 17th, the team won 78-12.  Winning by fall were:  Storm Ranck (75), Curtis Jury (85), Sage Moist (90), Mc Todaro (95), Tyler Foor (100), Kord Aurand (115), Tyler Long (122), Jeremy Hess (138), Nolan Brown (145), Phil Kyle (165), and Jesse Rhodes (210).  Darrien Stapleton (185) won by forfeit, while Austin Low (105), and Hunter Grove (130) both won by regular decision.

Junior High second at Huntingdon Tourn.

Decenber 12, 2009 - The Mount Union Junior High Wrestling team started the season with a second place finish at the Huntingdon Junior High Tournament.  The team scored 195.5 points and had 2 Champions.  Individual Champions were:  Sage Moist (90) and Kord Aurand (110).  Other placewinners were:  Tyler Long (115) and Phil Kyle (165) - Second Place, Hunter Grove (122) - Third Place, Storm Ranck (75), Curtis Jury (85), and Jesse Rhodes (210) - Fourth Place, Tyler Foor (100) - Fifth Place, and Darrien Stapleton (185) - Sixth Place.
