The Mount Union Area Board of Directors is seeking interested individuals to fill a board member vacancy effective immediately for Region 3 – Union Township, Shirley Township and Shirleysburg Borough – until the next general election (November 2025). The Board is requesting interested residents of Union Township, Shirley Township and Shirleysburg Borough to forward a letter of interest to include a statement why they would like to serve on the Board of Education and a resume to Ms. Deanna Lee Wagner, Board Secretary, Mount Union Area School District, Administrative Center, 603 North Industrial Drive, Mount Union, PA 17066 by noon on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Eligibility for appointment to this vacancy is:
1) A citizen of the Commonwealth of PA;
2) Age eighteen (18) years or over; and
3) A resident of Region 3 (Union Township, Shirley Township and Shirleysburg Borough) of the MUASD for at least one (1) year prior to the appointment.
