The Mount Union Area School District Curriculum Department is dedicated to supporting academic success and growth for all students, from kindergarten through graduation. Our team works closely with educators, administrators, and families to ensure that our instructional programs are aligned with state standards, support diverse learning needs, and prepare students for a bright future.

Our Mission

The Curriculum Department exists to provide guidance, resources, and leadership in all areas of instruction. We strive to create engaging and effective educational experiences that empower students to reach their full potential.

• Elementary (K-5): Under the leadership of Mr. Christian McClure, the elementary curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation in core subjects, encouraging curiosity, and expanding students’ knowledge and skills during their formative years.
• Secondary (6-12): Led by Mrs. Kristen Streightiff, the secondary curriculum is designed to guide students toward meeting their graduation requirements while also preparing them for college, careers, and lifelong learning.

Both directors are committed to supporting teachers and students through ongoing curriculum development, professional learning, and data-informed decision-making.
