The Mount Union Area School District is seeking a dedicated, proactive leader as:
This critical role oversees all district facilities and grounds with a goal to ensure safe, clean, efficient and welcoming schools for students, staff, and community members.
Core responsibilities include: 1) Supervision and Management, 2) Maintenance and Repairs, 3) Facility Operations, 4) Safety and Compliance, 5) Budgeting and Resource Management, 6) Planning and Development, 7) Policy and Procedure Development, 8) Documentation and Recordkeeping, 9) Communication/Collaboration, and 10) Problem Solving.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of mechanical trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and handle moderate lifting
- Current Act 34, 151, and 114 clearances
Preferred:
- Post secondary education in facilities management or related field
- Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role within facilities or maintenance
